We've just received some especially exciting post here at BB HQ. The hefty cardboard slipcase pictured above thunked onto the studio doormat today, containing a shiny new D&AD Writing for design graphite pencil. Space is currently being made on the awards shelf, which may need to be reinforced if our current run of awards success continues. This latest D&AD award – for the uninitiated, very much the Oscars of the design and advertising world – was for our brand identity work with Brighton Women’s Centre, which you can see on the site here. Thanks as ever to our brilliant wordsmith on this project, Kate Van der Borgh. Proof, we feel, that both words and pictures are at the heart of great design.
