Global Film Markets 2016

We love New York-based movie maestros FilmNation. They’re our longest standing client, having worked with us since their (and our) very earliest beginnings. In fact, we worked with them before they even had a name, which we helped them to create. Whilst developing a design approach for their presence at the four major film markets in 2016 – Berlin, Cannes, Toronto and LA – we decided to take an illustrative approach, commissioning film-obsessed image-maker Matt Taylor. Matt created a set of portraits inspired by the company’s slate of new releases, including vivid depictions of Michael Keaton and Amy Adams (from The Founder and Arrival respectively). Matt’s bright colourways worked brilliantly with our boldly graphic system, ensuring that FilmNation looked a million dollars wherever they landed.
