On Sunday, Baxter & Bailey team members Sam Watts and Emma Grencis lined up along the sea front alongside 8,000 others to run the annual Brighton Half Marathon. The sky was unseasonably blue, the sun shone and the crowds roared. We’re happy to report that both brave BB runners completed the course brilliantly and survived to tell the tale on Monday morning.
We’re a busy bunch at Baxter & Bailey. So when it’s time to shut down the Mac or close the sketchbook at the end of the day, we think it’s important to find ways to switch off. What better way to refocus and recharge than running along to the sound of seagulls squawking and waves crashing?
Here’s what Emma had to say about it: “Running a race can mean different things to different people. But ultimately I think it’s about testing yourself, pushing outside of what you know you can do. And despite pre-race nerves and post-race sore legs… I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t a tiny bit satisfying.”
Full speed ahead for 2019. Catch us if you can!
