Context
When it comes to rock royalty, they don’t get any more regal than The Rolling Stones. Celebrating their 60th anniversary in 2022, the legendary band have sold an estimated 250m records worldwide and in the UK have eight no.1 singles and 13 no.1 albums. Their awards include four Grammys, three MTV Music Awards and nine NME Awards. To honour this most enduringly iconic rock group, Royal Mail have issued 12 special stamps and a range of products.
